This map was published by several entities, including the United Nations and Soundvision Productions. Click for a larger version. The year is only up to 2011 because the data available is fairly slow to come from non-OECD countries.

This map I constructed to satisfy my curiosity, painstakingly matching up NOAA data by hand. I’m sure there’s a quicker way.
